The Timney Alpha Competition Trigger is a tuning trigger for the Glock Gen 6. The factory trigger pull weight is approx. 3 lbs (approx. 1.4kg), significantly lower than the stock trigger.

The trigger, trigger bar and housing are replaced; everything else on the Glock remains stock. The trigger bar and sear are NP3-coated, which, according to Timney, reduces friction. Timney has been manufacturing triggers in the USA since 1946.

Caution: Timney notes that some Gen 6 pistols have a cutout in the trigger area of the frame. The Alpha Competition does not fit these frames and must not be installed in them. The manufacturer's compatibility notice (PDF, English) shows how to identify the two variants. The trigger is intended exclusively for competition use.

Application:

The Alpha Competition replaces the original trigger, including its trigger bar and trigger housing. We recommend having the installation carried out by a qualified person and then checking that the pistol functions properly.
