Instructions on battery disposal
In connection with the sale of batteries or the delivery of devices containing batteries, we are obliged to inform you of the following:
You are legally obligated to return used batteries. Used batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You can return used batteries free of charge to designated collection points or to your local retailer. As a battery distributor, we are also obligated to take back used batteries. Our obligation to take back used batteries is limited to the type of used batteries that we carry or have carried in our product range as new batteries.
This obligation arises from the Batteries Ordinance (Federal Law Gazette II No. 159/2008) in conjunction with the Waste Management Act 2002 (AWG 2002).
You can therefore either return old batteries of the aforementioned type to us with sufficient postage or hand them in directly to us free of charge at the following address:
DS Security KG
Linzer Straße 22
