Original Glock Slide Lock for Glock Gen 5 and Gen 6

The slide lock is part of the takedown and locking mechanism in the frame. It allows the slide to be released in a controlled manner when disassembling the pistol.

The matching spring is available separately as the Glock slide lock spring. A version extended by 0.5mm with improved grip is available as the extended slide lock (+0.5mm). This extended version is not standard equipment on any generation; it is available as an optional spare part for Gen 3 through Gen 6 alike.
