The DAA PRO-TECT earplug was specially developed for competitive shooters and offers an attenuation of approximately 33 dB.
They are designed to primarily attenuate higher sound levels - such as those caused by a gunshot or similarly loud noises - while allowing other ambient noise to continue to be heard normally.
As long as no other extremely loud noises are generated, the standard attenuation of ambient noise is approximately 19 dB, ensuring that voices and background noises can be heard.
This means you get similar benefits to active earmuffs with far greater comfort!
These earplugs can of course also be used together with earmuffs if double protection is desired.
Included in the delivery are two sets of earplugs in different sizes as well as a lockable container, which can be conveniently attached to your keychain, for example.
