Handgun Recoil Spring Gauge – Recoil Spring Tester 2.0 with Digital Scale by Armanov

The Recoil Spring Tester 2.0 by Armanov allows the spring force of handgun recoil springs to be measured quickly and accurately. This helps with troubleshooting when a pistol is not functioning reliably, and also shows whether the correct spring weight is installed or whether a spring has already weakened and should be replaced.

Compared to the predecessor model, Armanov has significantly revised the second generation. The housing is more solidly built and the opening for the spring has been enlarged, so the spring no longer rubs against the inner wall when compressed. The result is more accurate and better repeatable measurements. The former red colour marking on the pull rod has been replaced by a plastic sleeve with an orange marker that does not wear and allows more precise reading.

Suitable for recoil springs with an inner diameter from 6mm and an outer diameter up to 12mm. The measurement markings on the housing cover the following models:

How to use:

The recoil spring is inserted into the device, the included digital scale is attached, and the spring is compressed until the orange marker reaches the position engraved on the housing for the respective pistol model. The scale display immediately shows whether the spring force is still within the target range or whether the spring should be replaced.
