A magnetic magazine holster offers several advantages for individual IPSC stages. For example, you can load magazines and attach them to your belt much more quickly than if you had to holster them under time pressure.

Conversely, such a magazine - for example, when you have to start with the weapon empty - can be removed faster and more efficiently from the belt than from a holster (for example, when starting while sitting!).

Unloading the weapon is also more relaxed and safer, as you can remove the magazine from the pistol and attach it to your belt blindly, so to speak - without losing sight and focus on the (usually) still loaded pistol!

A double magnet holder offers even more grip than a single magnet. This is particularly advantageous for Glock magazines, for example, which are not made entirely of metal.
