Recoil-damping springs system by DPM for Glock
This recoil spring system from DPM is designed to use 3 springs for damping instead of just 2, as in the original Glock recoil spring.
This third spring generates additional counterpressure just before the slide "strikes" the locking block, slowing the slide down.
This is clearly noticeable after installation, even when manually cycling the Glock while empty.
The DPM System offers the following advantages:
- Increased service life of the firearm or reduced wear due to less stress
- Reduced recoil
- Improved cycling performance and thus prevention of feeding problems
- Better control of the pistol and therefore faster follow-up shots
- When using a red dot sight, its service life is extended because it is also subjected to less stress
