The Bogies Palm Swell Grips from LOK Grips USA are two-piece G10 grips for CZ pistols that combine the rounded palm swell shape with the characteristic Bogies texture – a dense arrangement of sharply contoured indentations that create a very aggressive grip and provide reproducible hold even with wet or sweaty hands. The palm swell geometry is deliberately slim at the top to avoid interfering with the high CZ grip close to the bore axis, and fills the palm at the bottom. This creates a fuller, ergonomically much more stable hand position than with the standard aluminum grips.

Compared to the factory aluminum scales, the Bogies Palm Swell scales are significantly thicker. At their widest point, they measure approx. 37.5mm compared to approx. 28.8mm for the original CZ grips. Despite the wider design, the weight of approx. 53g is slightly lower than that of the standard aluminum grips (approx. 58g). This means the weight distribution of the CZ is almost maintained, while the ergonomic gain in stability and control is clearly noticeable.

The grips are made of G10 laminate – a multi-layer fiberglass-epoxy composite material that remains dimensionally stable against sweat, solvents, temperature fluctuations, and mechanical stress. The Bogies Palm Swell are IPSC approved and therefore cleared for competition use in the respective divisions.

For pistols with a magwell, the respective short version is absolutely necessary – otherwise the full-size version will interfere with the magwell!

Installation:

Installation is done using the included grip screws and O-rings. The manufacturer recommends using a medium-strength threadlocker. The grip panels are pre-milled on both sides and are screwed directly to the CZ frame without further adjustment.
