DPM System for Glock Pistols – Soft Version (Captured)

The DPM System in the Soft Version is a recoil reduction system for Glock pistols, specially designed for use with a compensator, sound suppressor, or ported barrel, as well as for lower-powered ammunition. It directly replaces the original guide rod and recoil spring and operates with a multi-spring guide rod consisting of three springs. An internal, invisible buffer spring only becomes active in the last 3-4mm before the slide is fully open, absorbing the hard impact of the slide and thus slowing it down in a controlled manner. Compared to the Standard Captured Version, the Soft Version operates with lower spring force – useful where a compensator or sound suppressor already reduces gas pressure and a too-strong spring would impair function.
