Vaultek LifePod 20 Biometric – Fingerprint Safe

The Vaultek LifePod 20 Biometric is a portable, biometric fingerprint safe for the secure storage of a full-size handgun – in a vehicle, range bag, at home or while traveling. Also perfect for international competitions to ensure secure storage during hotel stays!

The water-resistant fingerprint scanner stores up to 20 fingerprints and unlocks the safe in seconds, without a code or key. The casing is made of Vaultek's shock-resistant T3-Polymer blend and weighs only 1.5kg. Two side compression latches press the lid against an internal rubber seal: the interior is therefore water-resistant, airtight, and dustproof – the LifePod 20 can even float! The design complies with TSA guidelines (Transportation Security Administration) for transporting handguns in checked luggage.

In addition to the fingerprint scanner, two other access methods are available: the illuminated, touch-sensitive Smart-Sense keypad (master code with 4 to 8 digits) and two included emergency keys. The anti-impact locking mechanism prevents accidental opening in case of drops; the front keyhole can be deactivated from the inside to prevent tampering with the lock.

An automatic interior LED illuminates the contents when opened!

Application:

Without a battery, the LifePod 20 continues to function as a fully sealed, weatherproof case. The included 122cm steel cable (48") is attached to the mounting eyelet to secure the fingerprint safe against removal to a fixed object – such as in a vehicle or on a radiator. For air transport, the locked LifePod 20 is carried in checked baggage in accordance with applicable airline and TSA regulations.
