DPM Recoil Reduction System for Walther PDP 4.5″ and 5″ - 18-way adjustable

The DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System for Walther PDP pistols with 4.5 and 5-inch barrels replaces the original guide rod and recoil spring inside the weapon. The multi-stage spring system significantly reduces recoil, slows the slide before it hits the frame, and thus improves control and shooting performance without altering the external dimensions or holster compatibility.

Structure and Function

The system consists of a special guide rod with several interlocking springs . Three outer springs and six buffer springs allow for various combinations of spring force. This enables the bolt's movement to be precisely tailored to the load being used, from very soft training ammunition to more powerful loads or setups with a compensator.

With the bolt fully open, the system operates at a total spring force of approximately 7 kg. Depending on the selected combination, this force can be increased to around 10.5 kg. This effectively decelerates the bolt at the end of its recoil, noticeably protecting the frame and reducing muzzle rise.

• Suitable for Walther PDP with 4.5 inch and 5 inch barrel in caliber 9 x 19

• Compatible with PDP Full Size 5.1 inch OR Pro SD as well as steel and polymer frames

• Not compatible with PDP models with 4-inch barrel and PRO SD 4.6-inch barrel.
  

• The optimal spring combination should be matched to the ammunition and attachments such as compensators or threaded barrels.
